There will be eight teams divided into 2 groups of four. In a single match, the two best teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with the first team from group A facing the second team from group B and the second team from group A facing the first team from group B. The two remaining teams will play the final and the two others a match for third place.

The tournament will officially start on July 4, 2022 and will last 14 days, culminating on July 18, 2022 with the final to be played at the BBVA Stadium. Well, the venue will be Monterrey, Nuevo León and the two main stadiums of this tournament will be the University Stadium and the BBVA Stadium, home to Tigres Femenil and Las Rayadas de Monterrey.
