Last Wednesday, February 23, Russia began his invasion of Ukraine. This caused certain video game developers, such as 11bit Studios, they spoke about it. Now, more European studios have joined them, asking for solidarity towards this entire situation that encompasses the country.
Frogwaresauthors of Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, and other games, published the following message on social networks:
“We cannot stand still. Russia is attacking our home country and denying Ukraine’s sovereignty. We are trying to take care of ourselves, but this is a war, there is no other way to say it.”
We ask everyone to force Putin to withdraw from our lands.”

Then we have Sengi Games, developers of The Serpent Roguewith the following post:

Similarly, RiotGames decided to postpone the Valorant Champions Tour this week due to multiple players, commentators, and staff being impacted by the invasion:
“After careful consideration, we have decided to postpone the VCT EMEA Week 3 games. The well-being of the community is of utmost importance to us and for now, our priority is to support the players, commentators, staff and fans affected by the Ukraine crisis.”

Bungie also joined the cause by announcing that they will be donating 100% of their earnings from the first 48 hours of Game2Give to humanitarian institutions to help with the conflict in Ukraine.
