As the chapters pass, Theories about Rue, Cal, Cassie, Maddy, Nate and the rest of the characters keep popping up. At this point, fans want to know what will be the fate of Zendaya’s character, who in recent episodes hit rock bottom in his drug addiction.
Although for the episode 6 of Euphoria, season 2 Rue has apparently entered a stage of redemption, there is a mystery that fans hope will be solved: who is Elliot really and why is nothing known about him?

Was Elliot born as part of Rue’s imagination?
The character played by Dominic Fike has been a mystery since he was introduced on New Year’s Eve. He quickly befriends Rue and subsequently meets Jules. The last time we saw Elliot, he was at Rue’s intervention, clearly feeling guilty about everything they’ve both been going through in their relationship with drugs.
For fans it is strange not to know more about him, or his story behind or if he is connected to other characters beyond Rue and Jules.
The one who has started a Euphoria theory around this character is the influencer Hanna Bronfman, who mentions that not seeing Elliot from anyone else’s point of view, except his two companions, it would be nothing more than an illusion.
But the debate on social networks continues and there are several followers who respond to this theory by remembering several moments of him in the series. For example, Elliot does interact with other people beyond his ‘friends’.
He has spoken with Jules and with a group of athletes who chase him through the corridors after he plays a prank on them, so for them that it is a product of the protagonist’s imagination is false.
On the other hand, other followers bet that this hypothesis could be true when seeing how Rue’s hallucinations are an increasingly used resource in the series. Let us remember that we have seen her entering a church and hugging someone who can take the figure of her father in the midst of a crisis due to her drug use.
True or not, fans should expect to know more about Elliot, Rue and Jules in the remainder of season 2 of Euphoria, a fiction that will end its run on HBO Max on February 27.
