Crisis-proof: the city of Eschborn

Eschborn is the richest municipality in Hesse. But the city is not on the money, it is ready to share. For example, it supports numerous cultural institutions in the region. However, Eschborn’s gifts are not gifts.
B.Eschborn has not only made itself popular with its neighbors in the past. Many in the area do not speak well of this city, the multiple trade tax millionaire. The small town has paved almost its entire area with commercial areas that begin behind the Frankfurt city limits and are close to the motorway. If you put the trade tax that the city collects in relation to the number of its inhabitants, it is the richest municipality in Hesse. No wonder that such a large surplus can be generated.
After all, Eschborn is ready to share. Every year the city awards grants to museums, theaters and other cultural institutions outside its city limits. So far, the Frankfurt Städel, the Alte Oper, the Deutsches Filminstitut and the English Theater, the Dramatic Stage and the Theater Grüne Soße have enjoyed the benefits. The Opel Zoo in Kronberg was also given generous consideration. It was initiated a good ten years ago by the CDU mayor at the time, Wilhelm Speckhardt.
