Approved to House of Representatives the bill that cancels the ban on enrolling in several degree courses at the same time. The ban dated back to art. 142 of Royal Decree n. 1592 of 1933 and its repeal passed to the Room unanimously.
“A great result – commented the Minister of University and Research Maria Cristina Messa – which allows our country to take a leap towards future of university education, in line with the rest of the world. A result within reach thanks to the determination and work we are carrying out with the Parliament that has for some time put these issues at the center ”.
The measure was long overdue and will now have to be discussed at Senate. The goal is to make the law operational as early as next academic year. Without prejudice to the obligation to possess the qualifications required for enrollment, it will be possible to attend two different bachelor’s, master’s or master’s degree courses at the same time at several universities, schools or higher institutes with special regulations. In Italy and abroad.
“I am particularly satisfied with the excellent result obtained thanks to the M5S”, declared the signatory of the amendment on the subject Manuel Tuzi of the M5s.
