Racist insults after England-Italy: arrested a real estate agent who had offended Bukayo Saka, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho for missed penalties in the Euro 2020 final
As we underlined the indignation for the serious racist insults to the three black players who missed their penalty in the final of the European Championships against Italy, the readiness of the reaction of the English authorities should be emphasized.
A 37-year-old real estate agent was arrested on the morning of Wednesday 14 July by Manchester police, to whom he appeared after an investigation into the online insults started.
The complaint was filed by the company he worked for, Savills, who explained that she was unrelated to the facts. Indeed, the man was suspended from work for using the company account for the purpose of insulting the players in question.
The British police explained that the arrest does not end the investigation and therefore also the other perpetrators of the offenses must expect unpleasant consequences for their gesture.
