Energy Pirkko Valmari, who switched to stock exchange electricity, turned off the heat when an electricity bill of 8,000 euros threatened to hit in the winter: “I slept here in quilted pants”

Electricity companies have now, exceptionally, switched their customers’ fixed-term electricity contracts to fixed prices.

67 years old from Tuusula Pirkko Valmari is now relieved. In recent days, he has lowered the temperature of his detached house to ten degrees and taken a shower in the indoor pool so that he does not have to use electricity to heat the water.

“I slept here in ten-degree pants at a temperature of ten degrees,” says Valmari.
