Energy | German Chancellor praised new energy contracts: “We will never again depend on one supplier”

Germany has been very dependent on Russian natural gas, but the country has tried to diversify its energy supply after Russia invaded Ukraine.

Germany and the United Arab Emirates on Sunday signed an “energy security agreement” under which the UAE will supply Germany with liquefied natural gas and diesel.
