Thus was born the new Enel business unit that will continue the development of electric mobility, not only by implementing the charging infrastructure but also with a focus on other issues such as public transport, two-wheelers and probably also boating. . At the head of Enel X Way there will be Elisabetta Ripa, former CEO of Open Fiber and ready to take command of the new company that will deal with eMobility.

Not only for cars but also for two-wheelers in urban micro-mobility, as well as in the context of navigation and private flights. The future belongs to a flexible and mixed mobility, where consumers will seek above all services, to move comfortably and economically with ease of use: it is in this market that we want to be ready. “ Enel X Way will be able to count on about 700 employees who will be distributed in 3 continents and 18 countries: the growth process also provides for the possibility of entry for new investors in the future, if not even the landing on Piazza Affari with the listing on the stock exchange.

But first we will work to strengthen the capillarity of the recharging network and make it suitable for the needs of motorists, thus dispelling the myth of the lack of infrastructure and the anxiety of running out of power.
