Aaron Paul, an actor who played Jesse Pinkman on the hit AMC show created by Vince Gilligan, said his cameos in the Saul Goodman spin-off were the last time he played Walter White’s sidekick.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the star of “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” —a Netflix film in which he also reprized his role as Jesse—, confirmed that the role that gave him world fame will no longer be in your future plans.
It will always have a special place inside me, but I can confidently say that ‘Better Call Saul’ was the last time we’ll see Pinkman.. So it was a nice farewell, ”he expressed regarding his role.
The end of an era with a well-deserved tribute
Ahead of the end of “Better Call Saul” and five months to the 15th anniversary of “Breaking Bad,” Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston were honored with their own bronze statues in Albuquerque.
Subsequently, both Jesse Pinkman and Walter White made cameo appearances in the final episodes of the Saul Goodman series. In total, they appeared in two chapters each; Jesse even crossed paths with Kim Wexler.
