Emre Can: “Social criticism? There are more important things in life”

WORLD – “Missing the World Cup was very bitter. But it’s also true that I had played little in the first half of the season and when I was on the pitch I wasn’t good enough. I was also very dissatisfied with myself at that stage, I didn’t have either the confidence of the coach or the confidence in myself, I had to earn both.”

SOCIAL – There is also a reflection on the social world: “At the beginning of my career I always opened Instagram immediately after the games to read every comment about me. Some wrote that I was the best, others that I didn’t know how to do anything. These are things that I never leave closer to me. There are more important things in life. What’s important to me is what coaches, friends and family say about my performance.”
