Not always and only Fedez to “put his face” on some issues, but Emma Marrone is also active and close – always – to the LGBTQ + community. So much so that, after the failure of the much discussed Zan bill, Emma Marrone wanted to have her say about it.
Already in the summer, the singer had specified how much the Zan bill had a great importance and how it could finally lead to a more just situation for everyone, even in Italy:
That against homophobia is a battle that I have been carrying on for many years, I continue to do so also from my stage, especially from my stage, because when I get on it there are many kids but also many parents and it is nice to be able to talk about this topic in front of a truly vast audience to send a clear message to everyone. Putting one’s face to launch important themes is a very important thing that not only artists must do in my opinion, but all people must, have the right to speak, expose themselves to express themselves. I have been fighting for these rights for a long time, sometimes risking to seem unpopular. This law should be on the agenda, I am sorry that it passes as an extraordinary thing as if we were in the Middle Ages. We hope to wake up in a country ready to welcome all this with great normality.

Unfortunately the hopes of Emma Marrone, as well as those of many Italians, have evaporated for the moment. And also in a crude way, given the now well-known scene of applause in the Senate after the request for “not passing the examination of the articles” was approved yesterday.
Emma Marrone attacks: “Italy, an uncivil country”
The right-wing senators, in addition to trying in every way to fight against the Zan bill – managing to stop its approval – also rejoiced in a way that, obviously, aroused indignation in many.
Among them, characters like Chiara Ferragni they wanted to use their resonance to express their disappointment… and also Emma Marrone intervened, first sharing the video of the politicians who seem to make a stadium choir and then commenting:
DDL Zan law was rejected in the Senate today. So Italy proves for the umpteenth time that it is an uncivilized country. I am sorry now for all those people who will not be protected and protected. Because in 2021 instead of taking a step forward, we are returning to the Middle Ages, congratulations.
The intervention of the singer adds to a long list of influencers, singers, actors, politicians and prominent personalities in general, who have commented on a fact that is considered really serious, which leads Italy to regress.
