The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has assigned its Innovation Lab to search for innovative solutions to three future challenges it faces, the most important of which is «rationalizing expenditures and determining future job patterns for the Emiratisation sector», while the laboratory work team undertook to deal quickly with the challenges and find the necessary solutions to them through holding storming sessions mental.
In detail, the Innovation Lab team, affiliated to the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, held a virtual brainstorming session, headed by the CEO of the Ministry’s Innovation Council, Ayoub Al-Marzouki, during which he presented three future challenges that the ministry faces during the coming period, the first of which is «the use of artificial intelligence applications in the legal department» The second is “expenditure rationalization,” while the latter is “determining future job patterns in the Emiratisation sector,” pledging to immediately start organizing brainstorming sessions aimed at developing innovative solutions to these challenges to be adopted and applied.
During the session, which was organized under the title “Innovation Lab Addresses Future Challenges”, the team members discussed the importance of using artificial intelligence applications in the legal department, in a way that meets the legal demands and rights of labor relations parties and employers, automatically, and according to standard time rates, stressing The Ministry has succeeded, at the level of this sector, in offering a pioneering model for partnership between the government and the private sectors, by introducing the electronic system for “Tawafuq” service centers concerned with the services of examining labor complaints, which are registered free of charge and automatically through the hotline service, where workers’ complaints are received and settled within 48 hours, to be examined after that by legal researchers before being referred to the competent courts in the event that no settlement is reached in this regard.
The Ministry activated the principle of innovative accelerators to develop labor relations services, and its efforts contributed to achieving the country first in the world, for the second year in a row, in the index of labor disputes, by achieving protection and guaranteeing the rights of more than five million workers in the country of various nationalities.
7 elements of an “innovation ecosystem”
The participants in the virtual session said that the innovation system in the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation depends on seven main elements, namely, “the innovation portal, innovative projects, dealers, training programs, strategic partners, leadership meetings, innovation pioneers”, noting that the coming period will witness more interaction With talented, skilled and innovative citizens and residents of the country, through the smart innovation platform, to benefit from their experiences and innovations in several areas, including rationalizing expenditures, developing new technologies, and diversifying sources of income.
With regard to “determining job patterns for the future in the Emiratisation sector”, the participants in the session agreed on the importance of creating innovative awareness-raising and guidance mechanisms and means, to familiarize young citizens with the most prominent jobs of the future, and to provide training, qualification and guidance fields for them to enter modern professions, most notably the development of software systems and networks Data centers and “cybersecurity”, developing marketing plans within networks, compliance with regulations and risks, securing a network for “blockchain” chains, as well as design protocols, testing a set of different assumptions, developing plans for potential incentives within the network, in addition to designing and developing platforms that keep pace with the acceleration The spending that enterprises need.
