Waves up to 9 m high are expected in the Pacific Ocean and the Bering Sea off the coast of Kamchatka on Monday, December 6. On December 5, the regional administration reports. Russian Emergency Situations Ministry.
“On December 6, in the first half of the night in the Pacific Ocean, in the area of 11310 (Aleutian Municipal District), as well as in the Bering Sea, in the area of 11290, a dangerous wave of 8-9 m is expected. The storm warning will continue until the evening of December 6,” – the message says.
There are no threats to settlements. However, heads of shipping companies, whose ships may be in these areas, are advised to take extra precautions.
Earlier it was reported that frosts of up to 20-29 degrees will come to some regions of Russia in the coming days. We are talking about the Vologda, Ivanovo, Kirov, Leningrad, Murmansk, Yaroslavl regions, as well as about Karelia and the Perm Territory.
