Embraer recorded a net loss of R$234.2 million in the third quarter, reducing losses compared to the same period last year, when the indicator was negative by R$797.5 million. In the adjusted criterion, the losses were R$ 179.7 million in the period, informed the aircraft manufacturer this Friday morning (5) in a balance sheet sent to the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM).

The adjusted net loss excludes deferred income tax and social contribution and the net impact, after tax, of special items that may have been accounted for.
Ebitda reached BRL 380.7 million in the period, compared to BRL 1 million a year earlier. In the adjusted criterion, the indicator was R$410.7 million. As a result, the adjusted Ebitda margin in the third quarter was 8.2%, compared to a negative margin of 1% in the same period of 2020.
The company’s net revenue, in turn, reached R$ 5 billion from July to September, up 22% over the same period last year.
