This last week has been total chaos on the platform TwitterThis is due to the new rules that the new owner of the company is applying, Elon Musk, who modified the verification process to begin with. To this is added the removal of the official label, which only returned for certain select users of the stature of politicians and stars.
The latest round of layoffs reportedly came this week, after the remainder were given an ultimatum to commit to long hours on the website or resign with severance pay. According to technology reporter Kylie Robertson, 75% of the employees agreed to receive the package and access to the employees’ credentials was subsequently revoked, thus closing the offices for a few hours.
In a series of tweets on Thursday, Musk joked about the whole ordeal, even deploying the tombstone meme Grant Gustin from The Flash. He later claimed that the website just hit another all-time high in usage Twitter.
How do you make a small fortune in social media?

With all this, Musk would be establishing a total change for the platform, since it has even been called Twitter 2.0, but all the rumors of the company’s possible bankruptcy are still diffuse. In fact, the media have spoken with the employees, who mention that there is a high probability of a closure of the company in the coming months.
