After releasing a bottle of custom tequila that sold out within hours, billionaire and Tesla owner Elon Musk announced the Tesla Gigabier, a beer inspired by his new Cybertruck model. The drink was released during the Gigafest, held to commemorate the opening of the automaker’s new factory in Germany.
The event was a kind of car Oktoberfest and included a tour of the Tesla Gigafactory 4, located in the city of Grünheide. Details about the drink have not yet been revealed, but the Gigabier bottle is inspired by the Cybertruck’s appearance.

During the event, Musk did not say when the launch, price or brewing ingredients for the beer will be. However, Tesla plans to start production of the Model Y at the German plant in December. In 2020, when it launched the limited edition Teslaquila, the bottle cost US$ 250 (R$ 1,362 at today’s exchange rate, 15).
According to the company, Gigafactory 4 will produce the Model Y. The SUV has an engine on each axle, being able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds, with a range of up to 450 km, and limited top speed at 250 km/h. The car is also already on pre-sale in Brazil, starting at R$385,000.
