E-Distribuzione and Utilitalia, representing the distribution sector of electricity e Motus-E representing the stakeholders of electric mobility, they signed a Memorandum of Understanding which aims to commit the operators of the distribution networks and the e-mobility market operators to collaborate towards a shared goal: the progressive spread of electric mobility.
Scooters in sharing, checks on how the vehicles are driven
The signatories shared the opportunity and mutual willingness to identify coordination proposals and initiatives for support the spread of electric mobility, promoting joint actions that will facilitate the achievement of the targets set by the PNIEC and the PNRR. The proposals identified are aimed at adopting a systemic and efficient approach to the issue of connection to the electricity networks of the charging stations, which allows to rationalize the use of the existing distribution networks and the economic resources available for investments, ensuring the maximum diffusion of points charging of electric vehicles.
Caleno (Enel X): “Ready to install columns on the motorway”
Among the proposals identified, it appears relevant the need to ensure coordination between the Charging Point Operators (CPO) and the operators of the electricity distribution networks (DSO) uniform and homogeneous on the national territory, responding to general criteria which, through the cooperation between the various actors, allow the identification of the most suitable sites for host the charging columns: the purpose of the cooperation is to facilitate and accelerate the possible optimal and shared choice of sites, also through the development of digital solutions, favoring the areas where the network is already more prepared to accommodate the charging infrastructures.
Scooters and e-bikes are safe, there is an invisible anti-theft device
Of no secondary importance is the commitment undertaken to immediately support the optimization of administrative procedures: in particular, the intent to raise awareness and collaborate with municipal administrations right from the preliminary stages of preparing the tenders for the construction of electric charging stations, to optimize the choice of sites. Furthermore, the signatories agreed on the importance of promoting simplification actions in the authorization field towards the institutions concerned in order to favor a rapid spread of charging stations on public land. The agreement signed represents the starting point of a joint action between all the Operators involved in the process of spreading electric mobility, in a context that will see, in parallel with the progressive electrification of consumption, the contextual need to optimize and make the use of electricity more flexible. electricity distribution networks.
