Mexico City.- This Sunday, June 2, in the 32 entities that make up the Mexican Republic, people went out to vote for the renewal of the following federal level positions: President, Head of State and Government of Mexico, elected for one term of six years.
In Mexico City, the candidates for the presidency of our country: Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz and Jorge Álvarez Máynez cast their votes in Tlalpan, Miguel Hidalgo and the Condesa very early.
Like the candidates for the presidential seat, thousands of capital residents lined up to vote for their favorite as well as for the Head of Government and senators.
After an Electoral Day lasting ten hours (from 08:00 am to 18:00 pm), Martí Batres, Head of Government of Mexico City, ensured a white balance in the Capital during the 2024 federal elections.
