Aguascalientes.- Just a few hours before the end of the electoral campaigns, the candidate of the alliance between the Labor Party (PT) and the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) to the government of the state of Aguascalientes, Martha Marquezdeclined in favor of the leader of the Morena party, Nora Ruvalcaba Gámez.
In this sense, Márquez did not miss the opportunity to go against the candidate of the PRI-PAN-PRD coalition, Teresa Jimenez Esquivelaccusing that people close to the former PAN mayor are “electoral criminals.”
In a last-minute public message this Tuesday, he maintained that his wish is that the opposition alliance “does not steal” the state electionwhich is why he decided to decline and join Nora Ruvalcaba.
“I don’t want them to steal the election for not deciding (…) There are people close to Teresa Jiménez who are electoral criminals and I know them and we know them, and they are willing to do anything to steal the election, because that project is an obsession, It has no direction, it does not have the candidate, it is an unpresentable candidate,” he denounced.
Meanwhile, the standard-bearer of the National Regeneration Movement to the ownership of the State Executive expressed her gratitude to Martha Márquez, celebrating that they have overcome the differences they had between them.
“I celebrate that Martha Márquez from the beginning, when she detected corruption in her expansion, a corruption that compromised the future of Aguascalientes for 30 years, knew how to denounce and today also joins a project that will soon govern Aguascalientes and I celebrate this decision and I promise here in front of all of you that we are going to include the plans that she has”, he explained.
At the same time, Ruvalcaba Gámez assured that his government project will include the proposals that the PT and PVEM candidate made during her campaign in the federal entity.
