Elections polls: who premier? Meloni grows, Letta falls threatened by Salvini
The advantage of the Center-right over the Democratic Party-led coalition is still growing compared to the Lab21.01 survey presented at La Piazza di Affaritaliani.it in Ceglie Messapica. The center-right rises to 48.1% (+ 0.1%) while the center-left moves back by 0.6% to 31.5%according to the new Lab21.01 survey for Affaritaliani.it. Brothers of Italy (+ 0.3%) and Forza Italia (+ 0.4%) are growing, while the League is essentially stable. The Democratic Party loses 0.8% and drops to 25.3%. The Calenda-Renzi unitary list fell to 6.5% with a 0.4% drop, while the 5 Star Movement continues to recover, gaining 0.5% to 11.1%.
When asked about who the Italians want as the new prime minister, Giorgia Meloni is growing again (+ 0.2%) rising to 23.6%. Enrico Letta drops to 21.8% (-0.3%), closely followed by Matteo Salvini stable at 21.7%. Down Carlo Calenda at 17.8% (-0.3%) and strong growth of Giuseppe Conte (+ 0.6%) at 14.4%.
