On Monday, January 10, the bodies of the spouses were discovered by their 58-year-old daughter. First, she went into a private house on Stolypin Street, but did not find her parents there and decided to go to the bathhouse, where she found the owners with no signs of life.

Investigators examined the scene and found that the bathhouse was heated by a gas boiler. At the same time, the room was heavily overheated.

Earlier on January 10, it was reported that three people, including two young children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide in a five-story building in Kazan. The incident took place in a house on Dementyev Street.
