Elden Ring has been updated to patch 1.04 today, April 19, 2022. This includes various fixes and, now, it has been discovered that two famous bugs of the game have been fixed. Let’s talk about the illusory wall that disappeared after 50 hits and the dog that killed in one hit.
Precisely, the discovery was made by Zullie the Witch, a very active YouTube user in the soulslike field and, recently, Elden Ring. Patch 1.04, Zullie reveals, has eliminated the 50-shot illusory wall (actually there were 45). Now, the wall no longer disappears. It was therefore a bug. Considering that that illusory wall was of little use, this is not a big problem.
Furthermore, the dog capable of inflicting bleeding has been changed. Elden Ring’s enemy is no longer able to kill the player in one hit. Obviously he remains a strong and complex enemy to face, especially in groups, but his previous power was not part of FromSoftware’s intentions.
Also, this patch has made it impossible not to find the Elden Ring tutorial. Since the release of the game, there has been a lot of discussion about the tutorial and especially the way it is presented to the player. One slice of the public has completely missed it, while another believes it is more than visible. Clearly FromSoftware preferred not to take the risk and insert an additional modification, to make the game clearer, especially for new users.
