This Tuesday, La Revuelta received a visit from Antonio Díaz, better known as the Pop Magician: “It’s the first time someone from his guild has come,” Broncano highlighted.
After achieving the record of spectators on Broadway (New York) with more than three million who passed through his theater, the magician returns to Spain with the show Nada es impossible, a show in which magic and humor merge.
“What do I call you, Antonio or Pop?” the presenter asked his guest, who revealed the origin of his stage name because “that’s not my thing,” the Barcelonan admitted.
“Was the name your idea or something about marketing?” Broncano wanted to know. “In the United Kingdom I did a program, on the Discovery Channel, called Pop Magician,” explained the magician.
“And it stayed as an artistic name. When they started broadcasting the program in Spain, the format was called El Mago Pop, which was not my artistic name, but it stayed. I didn’t fight against that,” he added.
