The El Espolón Cultural Center in Comillas will close the month of October with a paper theater workshop, the concert by María Méndez -with the participation of Ramón Bueno-, the play ‘El trastolillo Buscatesoros’ and the screening of the documentary ‘Quelccaya ‘ which narrates the adventure of the Cantabrian Raquel García, the first European woman to ascend the largest tropical glacier in the world in Peru.
This was stated by the City Council in a press release in which the mayor, María Teresa Noceda, indicated that “maintaining such a varied cultural proposal throughout the year is quite a challenge.”
As for the exhibitions, In ‘Paper Theaters: Magical World of Stories’ you can see theaters from different parts of the world in the Jesús Vallina Municipal Library. Meanwhile, ‘Diafanidad’, by Laura Quevedo, consists of a collage selection in which photographs and plants intermingle.
