The anecdotes of “El chavo del 8” seem to have no end, especially if it is about the Mexican actor behind Don Ramón. Recently, his daughter, Carmen Valdes – who occasionally tells little stories about his father on social networks – shared an unpublished photograph of the beloved interpreter along with a curious anecdote linked to Chapulín Colorado. What is it about?
Just as Chavo and the entire neighborhood did, in 1977, Chapulín also had its special episode in Acapulco. This is something that Carmen remembers, who at more than 40 years, still remembers the participation of her father on that occasion.
“My beautiful daddy, my love, in our house in Cuernavaca, in Rancho Cortéz. Always simple, do you see what shorts he’s wearing? The same one he used in the Chapulín Colorado program in Acapulco! ”, Carmen wrote on her Twitter account.
The detail reminiscent of Chapulín Colorado
The white shorts with which Ramón Valdés appears —according to his daughter’s theory— would be the same one with which he appears in the episode “Un Chapulín en Acapulco”.
That time, the Mexican played an actor who played the villain in a film production, the same one that is interrupted by the presence of fans and the same red-suited hero.
“Very likely he came from that recording with us, his family, whom he loved so much!” Carmen Valdés added in her publication, to which her followers and admirers of the remembered Don Ramón responded positively.
Undoubtedly, one more anecdote for the long book of memories that emanate from the fiction created by Roberto Gómez Bolaños.
