Eitan returns to Italy, while in Tel Aviv he can also stay with the Pelegs: the judge invites his aunt Aya for the second time not to hinder meetings with his grandparents
This is the second measure in two days by which the Israeli judge invites the foster aunt Aya Biran to bring together Eitan, the only six-year-old child who survived the Mottarone tragedy, with his maternal grandparents Schmuel Peleg and Esther Cohen. The news comes from a legal source. Yesterday the magistrate, the same who decided that the child must return to Italy with his uncles but the sentence is suspended and non-executive pending the appeal, had ordered Aya to bring Eitan to her grandparents by 4 pm, on the basis of established shifts.
For the moment, the woman has decided to keep the baby with her because, according to what has been leaked from legal sources, he considers the Pelegs “dangerous” to his grandson. An attitude that, according to the grandparents, would be the mirror image of that disputed by Aya to the Pelegs, accused of having kidnapped the child from the family branch that lives in the Pavia area, thus disregarding an Italian sentence.
The appeal verdict should arrive within a few days and, in the meantime, the contenders should continue to see the little orphan alternately, three days each. The grandparents’ turn would start yesterday.
