The last hearing, behind closed doors, in front of the Tel Aviv family court, called to decide on the story of Eitan, the child who survived the Mottarone tragedy and is now disputed by the families, lasted over 12 hours. The decision will come in the next few days, if not in a couple of weeks: the Israeli judge must decide exclusively on the basis of the Hague Convention whether the minor should grow up in Israel or return to Italy where he lived with his aunt Aya, legal guardian.
