In Iraq, as a result of an attack by militants of the Islamic State terrorist group (banned in the Russian Federation), six policemen and two civilians were killed.
According to the agency France-Presse, 200 kilometers north of Baghdad, a civilian car was blown up by a mine. Police officers arrived at the scene and were fired upon by the militants.
Earlier in Baghdad, a child died as a result of missile launches in the green zone. In this zone are located government agencies, foreign missions, including the American embassy. The United States has already accused the pro-Iranian armed formations operating in Iraq for shelling.
