Suzuki will be one of the leading brands ofEicma 2021, thanks to its global footprint and interest in the Italian market. The entire 2022 range will be exhibited in the stand set up in hall 22, the MotoGP GSX-RR from Joan Mir and the GSX-R1000 SERT winner of the 2021 Endurance World Championship. But they will not be the only protagonists of the commitment of the Hamamatsu manufacturer at the Milan show.
During the press conference on November 23, Suzuki will unveil a preview and some models making their debut in Italy. Models that will be visible to the public from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 November.
A corner will be reserved for the seven GSX-R Legend Editions, which reinterpret in a modern key the legendary liveries with which Suzuki riders have been crowned World Champions in the past. There will be a chance to view the entire Suzuki offer for the 2022 season, which ranges from the Ultimate Sport Hayabusa to the cross-country RM-Zs, passing through the V-Strom family and road models, without forgetting the Burgman 400, which has recently benefited from a renewal.
Hamamatsu’s scooter will also be exhibited in the unusual guise of a work of art, thanks to the special livery created by the couple of illustrators Van Orton as part of the ARThletes charity initiative. On Wednesday 24th the Suzuki stand will host the final ceremony of this project, with the delivery of the proceeds to the Luciana Matalon Foundation and that of the scooter to the “winner” of the auction.
Suzuki will also be present in the external area of EICMA, baptized MotoLive and which will rise in a space adjacent to the fair pavilions. Here, thanks to the collaboration of the partners Motul, Findomestic and Motoplatinum, it will be possible to try out a selection of Hamamatsu models as early as Tuesday 23rd. Fans will be able to ride the V-Strom 650XT and 1050XT. Road bike lovers will have the three models that debuted in 2021 at their disposal. The first is the GSX-S950, which is the gateway to the world of Hamamatsu’s “four cylinders” and which is the only one thousand in Drivable price list in a version reduced by A2 license holders. The second is the GSX-S1000, a street-fighter. The third is the very recent GSX-S1000GT, the Grand Tourer. Finally, the range under test will be completed by the Burgman 400, now Euro 5 homologated, thanks also to the introduction of Dual Spark technology.
