At the next Milan Motor Show, Honda could launch the younger brother of its X-Adv 750, the crossover scooter that hybridized the world of commuters and that of adventure bikes. Will he give up the X to call himself “only” Adv 350?
We have been talking for some time about the X-Adv 350, the younger brother of the revolutionary seven-year-old that Honda launched on the market in 2017: the family of “adventurous” scooters of the Golden Wing seems close to expanding downwards, with the arrival of a more compact version that could be unveiled very soon. According to the latest rumors, the appointment with the “small” X-Adv would even be set for the end of next November. The location? Obviously Eicma, the Milan Show that will be staged from the 25th to the 28th of the month.
YOUNGER BROTHER
–
An X-Adv 350 would represent the ideal solution for those who, while attracted by the Japanese scooter-crossover, consider the displacement of the parallel twin inherited from the NC750X to be excessive. The rumors speak of a 2022 model, so it is perfectly legitimate to wait for the tremmezzo at Eicma 2021: except for surprises, the X-Adv 350 should be born from a rib of the Forza 350, a scooter with a sport-tourer flavor with which the new born would share first of all the single-cylinder 330 cc and 29 hp engine. To tell the truth, a younger brother of the X-Adv 750 already exists, but it is not imported here: it is simply called Adv 150, and in addition to being sold only on Asian markets, it loses the X by virtue of a minor off-road vocation. compared to the top of the range. It is not excluded that even the 350 may renounce this denomination in favor of a more road setting.
