With presentation at the show EICMA 2021, a new scooter has joined the Honda family. Model ADV350 is the ‘little brother’ of X-ADV, with a tubular steel frame, 37mm upside-down fork and rear shocks with separate reservoir. It will be on sale on the Italian market only in the version with standard 50-liter Smart-Top Box.
There are several peculiar characteristics of the model. The 330cc four-valve SOHC single-shaft engine achieves a maximum power of 29.2hp (21.5kW) and maximum torque of 31.5Nm, while the HSTC traction control manages the grip of the rear tire. The windshield is adjustable in height, the compartment under the saddle can accommodate two full-face helmets and the glove compartment is equipped with a USB-C socket. This medium-displacement scooter is aimed primarily at young people, and joins a hugely popular segment across Europe.
The off-road character of the Honda ADV350 scooter is enhanced by the large front section. The 37 mm upside-down motorcycle fork (with upper and lower plate) and the rear shock absorbers with separate reservoir are designed for improved handling and absorption of roughness. The 15-inch light alloy front wheel and 14-inch rear wheel are fitted with 120 / 70-15 “and 140 / 70-14” semi-tread tubeless tires, for greater grip even on slippery surfaces. Braking is entrusted to the single 256 mm disc at the front and the 240 mm rear disc. Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) traction control and Emergency Stop Signal are standard.
The 133mm travel windshield is 4-way adjustable thanks to a slide lock mechanism. Raising it to the maximum, the airflow is channeled around the rider’s shoulders. In urban contexts or on dirt sections, the low position is useful for greater visibility. The range of original Honda ADV350 accessories includes: inner trunk bag; heated grips; U-shaped mechanical anti-theft device; outdoor cover.
