Madbouly said after inaugurating the first industrial complex of the Turkish company “Beko”, which specializes in manufacturing home appliances, that the government aims to attract three giant international companies, namely the Chinese global company “Haier”, whose factory complex has been opened, the Turkish company “Beko”, and the third company is the company “Bosch”, whose factory is scheduled to open soon.
The Prime Minister expressed his happiness at the opening of the industrial complex of “Beko” Company, which is a giant industrial edifice being built on Egyptian land.
He added, according to a statement by the Egyptian Cabinet, that the establishment of “Beko” factories is not only to cover the demand in the local market, but also to be a regional center for export in the entire Middle East and Europe.
Madbouly added that during the negotiation phase with these international companies, the government provided all the procedures, facilities and incentives, including giving these companies the golden license, and the land was made available to them through direct allocation, adding that each of the three companies was able to complete its own factory in a period not exceeding one year.
He pointed out that the “Beko” factory operates with a capacity of 650 workers, and it is scheduled to increase to reach 2,000 workers in the coming period, adding that the factory includes the latest global technologies in manufacturing, in addition to the Egyptian workers trained to the highest level, and the factory benefits from the research and development departments in Egyptian universities and the ideas of young people, and work is underway to implement them.
The Prime Minister added that the partnership model in “Beko” Company represents a very successful model of partnership.
