The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced that all hospitals in Qena Governorate (southern Egypt) were free of Corona virus patients for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic, which represents a new success in addressing the pandemic.
Today, the Ministry indicated that all the results of the analyzes of the PCR samples that were conducted for suspects and travelers over the past 15 days in the governorate were negative, pointing out that the high rates of vaccination with anti-Coronavirus vaccines contributed significantly to achieving this achievement.
The Egyptian health authorities continue to emphasize commitment to preventive and precautionary measures and measures to confront Corona, in order to preserve success in addressing the pandemic.
Qena is the second governorate that the Egyptian Ministry of Health announced that its hospitals are free of Corona patients, after Beheira Governorate (northern Egypt), where all the results of PCR samples analysis, whether for suspected cases or travelers, appeared negative over the past ten days.
