Egan Bernal launches project on his second chance at life

The cyclist is still recovering from the accident.

Egan Bernal pedals, continues doing kilometers, his recovery is going smoothly, but smooth sailing and meanwhile, by the laditos, analyzes options to support cycling.

This Saturday, in Bogotá, he will launch a social and sports project created by him, by his environment.

Clear idea

The idea is to search, detect and project new talents of Colombian cycling, a task that he has planned for a long time, but that will make it official.

‘EB Project’ was born after having survived the strong accident on January 24, when in training he crashed into a bus, which almost cost him his life and almost left him in a wheelchair.

“It is my second chance at life, I promised myself to create new projects that help Colombia be a better country”he wrote on his social networks.

Bernal’s idea is to create a team with cyclists from the U-23 and youth category to give them the opportunity to excel in cycling.
