On Wednesday (June 22), the PF (Federal Police) arrested Milton Ribeiro. The preventive arrest warrant was issued in the case about the performance of pastors in the MEC.

The following day, federal judge Ney Bello, of the TRF-1 (Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region), revoked the preventive detention of the former Minister of Education.
This Friday (June 24), Judge Renato Borelli, of the Federal Court in Brasília, ordered the sending of the investigation into corruption and influence peddling in the Ministry of Education back to the STF (Federal Supreme Court), for alleged interference by the president Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
Ribeiro said on June 9, during a telephone conversation with his daughter, that he had received a call from Jair Bolsonaro about possible search and seizure operations by the PF involving alleged deviations in the FNDE (National Fund for the Development of Education).
According to Milton, during a trip to the US, Bolsonaro had said he had a “feeling” about the operation.
