In order to guarantee order in the penitentiary centers of the Mexican territory, authorities of the Mexico state transferred 57 highly dangerous inmates to prisons in Nayarit and Torreón.
The action was carried out by the Security Secretariat (SS), through the Undersecretary of Penitentiary Control, for persons deprived of liberty who remained in the prisons of Tenango del Valle, El Oro, Otumba, Ecatepec, TlalnepantlaTexcoco and Chalco.
The same that during the early hours of this Friday were transferred by air with the support of the National Guard to continue their processes and / or sentences in the CEFERESOS of the states of Nayarit and Coahuila.

In addition to seeking order in the Edomex prisons, the transfer of the 57 inmates seeks to mitigate overcrowding, strengthen social reintegration and prevent the creation of criminal groups inside the prisons.
So far this year, with these movements there are 471 inmates transferred to different CEFERESOS and 9 to other prisons in Edomex. The first time on February 10 with 234 inmates sentenced for high-impact crimes in diapers in Oaxaca, Durango and Chiapas.

The second movement was that of 180 maximum security inmates, including 83 women, who were sent to prisons in Guanajuato and Morelos, respectively.
