A recent job announcement seems to reiterate that the Black Panther produced by Electronic Arts will be an open world game: here's why.
The game of Black Panther produced by Electronic Arts and currently in development at Cliffhanger Games will be open worldor at least that's what a recent one would seem to reiterate job announcement.
The studio led by Kevin Stephens, former head of Monolith Productions, the authors of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, is in fact looking for a sandbox designer who will be responsible for creating interactions, mechanics and gameplay within the context of a dynamic and constantly evolving open world.”
This is not the first clue in this sense: already last year, job announcements described Black Panther as an open world action RPG powered by Unreal Engine 5, and at this point we could take everything as confirmed.
Sophisticated artificial intelligence?
Also in the announcement we read that the figure Cliffhanger Games is looking for will have to work closely with the AI engineering team in order to create sophisticated behaviors of artificial intelligence.
These elements will contribute to substantially improve the experience open world of Black Panther, starting from the attitude of passers-by to arrive at that of the fauna that populates the ecosystem.”
Black Panther also in vintage version
As you know, we will find Black Panther (or at least a vintage version of the character) also in Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra, announced with a trailer at State of Unreal 2024. This is the long-awaited and talked about action adventure written by Amy Hennig.
In this case to wear the costume it won't be T'Challa but Azzuri, its predecessor during the Second World War. The hero will have to collaborate with Steve Rogers and his Howling Commandos to face the newly formed Hydra organization.
