A few minutes ago one was recorded new earthquake shock of magnitude 2.0 once again located in the area of Phlegraean Fields. The epicenter is Solfatara of Pozzuolia town located in the western part of Campania.

These are tremors that have been terrorizing the area in question for days, as the Earth continues to shake without finding peace. Fortunately, all the tremors recorded in the last few hours were very low and in some cases the inhabitants of the area did not even feel them.
It's about natural settlements due to the movement of the earth's crust and the various plates that move following the rotation of our planet. Being so numerous and very close to each other they have been defined as seismic swarm by the experts.
How is the current situation in the Campi Flegrei?
Italy is a highly developed area seismicwhich is why they are so small earthquakes they register every day. Then there are some geographic locations where the movements of the Earth are much more intense and perceptible and the Campi Flegrei appear in the list.
Fortunately, the tremors highlighted recently were very light and therefore no damage was caused to things, structures, people or animals. The 5pm one wasn't even there first shock of the day as the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology it had registered another small tremor about 30 minutes earlier.

In any case, we must remember that in this area there is also one of volcanoes most powerful in all of Italy, that is Vesuvius. In recent years, experts have highlighted a very marked activity of the volcano which, in the event of an eruption, could cause a lot of damage also in seismic terms.
