The Ministry of Social Policy, Families and Equality has awarded thirty social entities the 973,815 early care sessions in the Region of Murcia offered until 2029. The resolution of the call for the social concert corresponding to this specialized care service, aimed at children from zero to six years old with developmental difficulties, covers 25 associations and offices that requested to expand the number of interventions in the Child Development and Early Care Centers (CDIAT) of the Region and five new entities. These join the public early care network to provide the service, free of charge for users. Five other entities do not enlarge their concerts. The expansions became effective on Monday, April 1 and the incorporations will begin on May 1, reported sources from the Ministry headed by Conchita Ruiz.
«For this year, the number of sessions has increased by 50%. 175,287 are offered individually and 19,476 for service in the educational and family environment of the minor,” they noted in the Community. They added that “the regional government maintains its commitment to strengthening the early care service and increases the investment allocated in 2024 to 23.5 million euros, which is 7.5 million euros more than the previous year. “This increase will allow us to serve 4,000 more boys and girls with intervention needs in their first years of life, in addition to the 4,600 who are already being served.”
