Several years have passed since the E3 was held in person. While concerns about this event and conversation centered around how outdated it might be today, today it has been confirmed that E3 2023 returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Through a new statement, it has been revealed that in the second week of June 2023, E3 returns in its physical format. Along with this, the ESA, the organizers of the event, have allied with ReedPop, the event production company behind PAX, New York Comic Con, Star Wars Celebration and moreto revitalize next year’s edition.
On this occasion, E3 2023 is described as a “week of titanic AAA reveals, shocking world premieres and exclusive access to the future of video games”. This was what Stanley Pierre-Louis, President and CEO of ESA, had to say about it:
“We are thrilled to bring back E3 as an in-person event with ReedPop, a world leader in the production of pop culture events. The last three years have confirmed that E3 brings together our industry like no other event.”

At the moment there is no exact date for E3 2023, but it has been mentioned that registration for the press and various members of the industry will begin later this year. Along with the in-person event in Los Angeles, a series of digital presentations will also take place next summer.
Let’s remember that E3 2020 was canceled due to the problem that COVID-19 represents. Then in 2021 we saw a series of digital presentations that failed to convince many. Finally, this year’s edition, which was going to be face-to-face, was canceledand there were also no plans for an online version.
Remember, E3 2023 will take place in person and digitally in the second week of June 2023. In related topics, you can learn more about the upcoming E3 here.
Editor’s note:
2023 is going to be quite an interesting year. In the absence of E3, the Summer Game Fest has gained greater popularity with the general public. It will be interesting to see how these two events manage to go head-to-head next year.
