We return to a citizen
With the Misano Adriatico double-header over, Formula E will return to the track this weekend for the eighth round of the season. Unlike the last test in Emilia-Romagna, the single-seaters of the 100% electric series will compete on a street circuit, which is also the chicest of this season and of the entire motorsport panorama. On the single day of Saturday 27 AprilFormula E will in fact stop in Montecarlo.
Three for leadership
The iconic track, the same one also used by Formula 1 single-seaters, will therefore not see layout changes for the seventh edition compared to previous years, when a reduced version of the circuit was instead used. In the roll of honor of the historic E-Prix, the greatest number of successes belongs to Sébastien Buemi, who won the first race here in 2015 and then repeated it in 2017. The Swiss driver will attempt his personal hat trick this year, even if the ranking Pilots see Pascal Wehrlein and Jake Dennis in full battle to take the lead in the rankings alone, both being stuck at 89 points and followed closely by Oliver Rowlandwho will want to make up for his retirement on the last lap in the second race at Misano.
Tests and competition in one day
The appointment is therefore for Saturday only, during which free practice, qualifying and the race will take place. We will start with the two free practice sessions in the morning, both of which can be followed on the competition's official website, on its app and on the official Facebook and YouTube channels. The qualification, however, will be broadcast live by sportmediaset.itwhich will guarantee the live coverage of the race together with Italy 1 and Eurosport 2.
