In the database ofESRB, the US classification body, a few hours ago the versions appeared PS5 and Xbox Series X | S from Dying Light, suggesting a launch at the gates of the long-awaited next-gen upgrade.
As you may already know, a few days ago Techland confirmed that it is working on a next-gen patch for the console versions of Dying Light, without however indicating a launch window. The fact that next-gen versions have appeared in the ESRB database could indicate that the publication of the upgrade could be very close and an official announcement in the coming days is not excluded. To further strengthen the hypothesis, the fact that these two versions have been added to the same card of Dying Light Platinum Edition for Nintendo Switch, arrived in stores today and of which you can read our review.
At the moment Techland has not revealed what improvements we can expect for Dying Light on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but in all probability the game should be able to run smoothly in 4K and 60fps on the flagship consoles of Sony and Microsoft.
Meanwhile, still remaining on the subject of classification bodies, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S appeared in the PEGI database a few hours ago.
