His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received today a phone call from His Excellency Joko Widodo, President of the friendly Republic of Indonesia, in which he expressed his country’s condemnation and denunciation of the heinous attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on civilian facilities and sites in the UAE. He stressed that targeting civilian areas is a violation of all international and humanitarian norms and laws.
The Indonesian president stressed his country’s solidarity with the UAE and its support in all the measures it takes to ensure the protection of its security and territorial integrity. He offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, and his wishes for a speedy recovery to all the injured. For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks and appreciation for the initiative and sincere feelings he showed towards the UAE, asking God Almighty to keep him healthy and well and Indonesia and its friendly people security and stability, and to protect it from all harm.
