On the beautiful roads of southern Sardinia we tested the latest addition to the family
Multistrada, the V4 Rally. Compared to the basic and S version, the tank gains 8 liters of capacity for a total of 30 liters and 35% more autonomy. The windshield is wider, about 2 cm more in width and height, an update that greatly improves the aerodynamic protection of the rider and passenger. The V4 Gran Turismo engine, with its 170 HP of maximum power, has been confirmed and also gains the shut-off system for the rear cylinders at low speeds. The long-stroke suspensions, on the other hand, have been implemented with an even more precise and rapid response semi-active technology. The result is a comfortable and crackling motorcycle on asphalt, but just put the wheels off-road to transform into a real tank. Despite the stones and slippery surfaces, the set-up remains composed, qualities that calm even those with less experience with bikes of this magnitude. The 260 kg of weight with a full tank are imperceptible, even at low speeds: in fact, thanks to various functions to lower the height from the ground, even those who are shorter in stature can rest their feet more calmly. This novelty is ready to point the finger at the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure, the price starts at 27,490 euros fc
