The road is clear for Marquez
The official announcement of Jorge Martin’s move to Aprilia and the words released to Rai Radio by Carlo Pernatwhich confirmed that Enea Bastianini will be a new KTM rider in 2025, leaves no more doubts: next year he will sit next to Pecco Bagnaia in the Lenovo Ducati team garage Marc Marquez.
The only mystery remains there date of the official announcement. For the moment there are no clues in this regard, but the general manager of Ducati Corse Gigi Dall’Igna explained to the official MotoGP channel that the press release will arrive “as soon as possible“.

“It is not easy to finalize all the agreements – declared the Ducati engineer to the site’s microphones MotoGP.com – and we are working on this. We will certainly make an announcement as soon as possible, but I can’t yet give a firm date for when this will happen“.
Not that there was any further need after Pernat’s words, but Dall’Igna also confirmed that the second place obtained at Mugello by Bastianini does not change the assessments made by the team about the future.
