The Customers Council of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai recently hosted, at Umm Suqeim Council of the Community Development Authority, the owners and operators of heritage abras, in the presence of a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Customers Council of the Roads and Transport Authority, Muhammad Obaid Al Mulla, and Director of the Maritime Transport Department at the Transport Corporation, Muhammad Abu Bakr Al Hashimi to discuss their proposals and needs.
Al Mulla stressed that the authority places at the top of its priorities the services provided to the public from all segments of society, and is keen to make them happy and raise the level of their satisfaction through continuous improvement and development of services, through the use of the best international practices and the latest in modern technologies, and upgrading these services beyond expectations. Those dealing with the authority through effective communication with them and studying their observations, ideas and initiatives.
Al-Mulla listened to a number of suggestions, ideas and observations on a number of phenomena related to the performance of traditional abra transportation, stressing that the authority, with all its institutions and sectors, always attaches great importance to studying the proposals, ideas and observations of the public, and applies the feasible ones, and honors the owners of the best proposals, ideas and constructive.
