The Public Relations Unit of the Dubai International Holy Quran Award held an extensive meeting with the supervisors of the groups and volunteers, in order to find out the latest preparations and the readiness of the work teams and to review the operational plans for work during the competition period, as part of the intensive preparations for the Dubai International Quran Award for the launch of the Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak International Competition in its fifth edition. It will be held from November 20-27.
The Deputy Head of the Public Relations Unit, Khaled Al-Marzouqi, praised the great role and outstanding efforts that the volunteers continued to provide during the previous sessions, under the guidance and supervision of the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Award, Counselor Ibrahim Mohamed Bumelha, and members of the Organizing Committee, which contributed to the world’s appreciation of this competition for the accuracy of its organization and the professionalism of its work teams.
Al-Marzouqi stated that the volunteers prepared to carry out their full duties in welcoming the country’s guests and ensuring their happiness and comfort during the stay, and during the last period, the hotel reservations for the contestants, their companions and the jury were completed.
During the meeting, work teams were formed to be distributed in various locations such as housing, the airport, the competition hall, transportation, etc., and commemorative shields were prepared for the occasion, and coordination with other committees to produce the closing ceremony of the events in a distinct way, and at the end of the meeting tasks were distributed to the supervisors of the groups, each in His field of expertise.
