Dubai Municipality announced the allocation of all its public beaches in the emirate to be exclusively for families during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, based on the municipality’s keenness to provide an attractive city with integrated entertainment and tourism facilities, and to provide the best in terms of quality of life and luxury for residents and visitors.
The public beaches supervised by Dubai Municipality in the emirate, which are designated for families, include 8 beaches, including: Khor Al Mamzar Beach, Al Mamzar Corniche, Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, Umm Suqeim 2, and Jebel Ali Beach.
Engineer Ibrahim Mohammed Jumaa, Director of the Public Beaches and Water Canals Department at Dubai Municipality, confirmed that the new circular allocating public beaches in the Emirate of Dubai to families only during the Eid al-Adha holiday aims to regulate the number of visitors to the beaches that witness a large demand during official holidays and feasts from all segments of society. It also aims to provide the opportunity for family members to enjoy the beaches of Dubai during the Eid holiday, one of the best tourist destinations in the emirate.
Jumaa said: “Dubai Municipality has allocated an integrated safety and rescue team that includes 140 highly qualified and efficient individuals and is equipped with the latest equipment and logistical supplies that enhance rescue operations on beaches and contribute to ensuring the highest levels of security and safety standards for visitors to those beaches. The municipality has also equipped a field monitoring team of 65 individuals.” “To supervise the organization of operations on the beaches and follow up on the progress of work during the Eid holiday, in order to provide comfort and luxury to families and enhance their quality of life.”
The Director of the Public Beaches and Water Canals Department indicated that Dubai Municipality will closely follow, in cooperation with its strategic partners, all operations on its beaches during the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
Dubai Municipality supervises the management of the water canals and public beaches in the emirate, as well as developing their infrastructure and providing them with the latest attractive integrated services and facilities that provide an entertainment experience for residents, residents and tourists, and enhance their well-being and happiness.
It is noteworthy that public beaches in the Emirate of Dubai have received global accreditation for the Blue Flag program for five consecutive years, due to public beaches meeting all requirements that include adherence to the program’s standards, such as marine water quality, environmental education, environmental management, public safety and services.
