Next Saturday, the Dubai International Marine Club will organize the Dubai International Water Bike Race – the third round of the UAE 2022 Championship, as part of the calendar of the 2021-2022 marine sports season.
Last January, the club organized the opening rounds of the Emirates Championship, which took place in Al Shorouk Beach, coinciding with the beginning of the UAM Centennial celebrations from 1922-2022. The events were attended by a large audience of pioneers and visitors to the Dubai International Boat Show 2022, which concluded its twenty-eighth session, and the follow-up of the exhibition’s first advisor, Saeed Mohammed Hareb, Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, while the coronation ceremonies of the two categories took place in the outdoor exhibition arena in the presence of Mohammed Abdullah Hareb, Executive Director of Dubai Club. Rashid Ali Salem Al Mulla, the world champion in freestyle shows “Freestyle”, won the first place, and the Frenchman of Moroccan origin Yassin Fadli came second, while the third place went to Abdul Jalil Al-Awadi, the star of the Sharjah team.
The water-flying waterboards category witnessed the brilliance of the two brothers, Mane’ and Majed Habib Al Marzouqi, who won the first and second places, while the podium witnessed the birth of a new star, the young contestant Saif Sultan Al Zarouni, who achieved third place.
